What the hell *are* we all about? Good question, that. This site was created to fill the need for a place to find magical/occult/religious material without all the BS. What does that mean? It means you won't find a site dedicated to any specific movement, thought, philosophy, or tyranical claim of "the one right way" (TM). More of the content *you* want, less of the BS that makes finding that content a shitty job.
We don't claim any specific bias and make an effort to show all perspectives on a topic. To this end, we opened up the site to articles written specifically by individuals of any belief. We're not looking to be a store house. More like a tea house (cafe for you more western inclined). A dynamic community with input from any number of sources. We welcome new ideas and opinions as a ripple of truth within the pond of reality.
Toward this goal we also maintain an IRC channel on Dalnet, #liquid_realities. This site will include a messageboard for those not so willing to enter the chat arena. As well, expect to see other dynamic features added to the site as time passes. We have many ideas in the works, but the basic things are the highest priority right now.
This site is maintained and created by two main people. Niteseer and Dreamripper. Each has a seperate area that they specialize in and maintain. We are only two people, with "real world" obligations. We will make an effort to respond to your email and questions as quickly as possible. Beyond that the content should ultimately be created by the people that visit the site and feel a need to share with others that might need it. Suggestions, comments, and critiques are always welcome. This should be a community run website.
Niteseer:
Niteseer is the major controller of the website and in charge of the server, database, and any programming that might be required for any of the above. Any problems with the site ultimately fall back to him to fix. He is 25 and living in southern California at the moment. His major areas of magical interest are chaos, healing, blessing, shielding, and general energy work. He is somewhat of a scholar (though modesty keeps him from flat out claiming it), reading and collecting a lot of information on any magical topic, so don't rule him out if you've a question that covers an area not in his major areas of focus. Dreamripper:
DreamRipper takes care of the graphics and much of the behind-the-scenes work of the site, though she couldn't code to save her life. She resides in southern California and is currently a student of psychology. Her magical interests lie in chaos magic theory, sorcery and direct energy magics, divination, and light healing.
